Lengths of cables
Our custom-made cables are produced to your specifications. All the lengths are specified in metres and are precise to the nearest 0.1m. The minimum length is just 0.1m and the maximum is 100m. For lengths greater than this other media (such as fibre-optic or wireless links) will be required.
Note that, as standard, the length specified includes the plugs, which may be an important distinction for very short cables. For unbooted cables the length of exposed cable between the plugs will be approximately 4cm shorter than the specified length. For booted cables the length of exposed cable between the boots will be approximately 8cm shorter than the specified length.
Although there is no maximum aggregate length for any order, there is a maximum delivery weight of 20kg. In the event that your total order comes to more than this (the basket will inform you), please contact us to arrange delivery.
